The new authentication platform is aimed at providing smoother login experiences for Salsa’s customers in the North American market, while meeting new legislation that’s expected to pass in 2023.

The new regulations will see companies have to offer MFA for customers in New Jersey and Ontario – which is expected to spread to other regions shortly afterward.

Peter Nolte, CEO of Salsa Technologies, commented: “Over the years Salsa Technologies has invested heavily in meeting the standards set by other regulators with the goal of becoming the first operator to obtain a licence in Brazil once the new regulatory framework is established.

“With that in mind, Salsa Technologies has determined that Miracl's single-step multi-factor authentication will exceed even the most rigorous standards being imposed by jurisdictions such as New Jersey and Ontario, while improving the user experience and login success of its players.”

Meanwhile, Rob Griffin, Miracl CEO,free slot games added: “With New Jersey legislative action insisting upon multi-factor authentication on all gaming platforms, momentum to implement is building fast.

“Announcing our partnership with Salsa Technologies today showcases how gaming is finally prioritising user logins, committing to the very best authentication. Miracl's single-step MFA is just that – providing the ultimate login, and simply a no-brainer for gaming."

The news comes after Salsa also agreed a new content partnership with Weebet.

Based in the Brazilian city of Recife, online casino and sports betting group Weebet is owned by SportiveData, which specialises in statistics and the development of sporting software.
